About Me:: I've lived in California now for 13 years. Wow! Time flies when you are having fun. I have lived in the San Franciso Bay Area, San Diego and am now in metro LA - Burbank. I swore I would never live in L.A. area and am proof that god has a sense of humor! My job brought me here 3 years ago. I work for Kaiser Permanente - a not for profit HMO. They are a great company to work for - the benefits are great - and most days I like what I do. Simplifying it...I would say I am desk jockey.

I graduated college in '92 with a degree in Theater and promptly decided I was done with it except as a spectator. I call it my "degree in unemployment." I still love the theater and go to plays regularly - I have been averaging about 2 a month. I have seen some great shows and some not so great.

I am a confirmed old bachelor...and have made my peace with being single. Some things, I have discovered, just aren't in the cards. A partner and children being two for me. It's all good and I love my freedom.

I have a little dachshund...she is six years old and her name is Desdemona...Desi for short. She is my own personal little comedian, but she doesn't realize it.

I have made some great freinds out here and currently I really love my life. All in all it's pretty good.

I threatened to get on here and post a blog about my experience at my reunion...so here goes.

I realize I am very late in doing this but I still felt it appropriate.

First a BIG "Thank You" to those of you who worked so hard to put on the reunion. Andre, Kristi, Jennifer, you all get great kudos from me. Thank you each and everyone of you.

You know me & the whole pop culture issue! ;) I was just hoping it was going to be better than last year. I just didn't get totally engrossed like in the past. It was OK... & we certainly had our share of discussions surrounding it... but, it just wasn't the same.

Nothing spectacular here for the holidays. Christmas... at home. Hubby being... HIM! That's another Oprah... to steal a quote! ;) Great gifts??? I got a coffee pot. Does that warrant a "great"? It has pause & serve... For New Years I just stayed in my room & painted. I've been shelling those bad boys out since break. Having fun with it.

Um, what was another question? Oh, I eeked my A's out of my ARSE last semester. Got a 90.5 and a 90.9. PHEW!!! I'm taking Contemporary Worldviews (Philosophy) and New Testament Survey this block. I'm more excited about those than I was with the Child Psych & Adolescent Psych. I have Children AND I have Adolescents. They're psychotic... what else ya got for me in that book??? I'm going to go back to my Art class in Marion on Wed nites, too. I'm excited about that. Get me out of here!!!!

Were those all of your inquiries??? I think so... but another year has passed... more brain cells obliterated... Oh, well. We'll pretend that I got them all if I didn't... :)

My aunt has been in the hospital since a little before that. Christmas was kind of strange, as was New Years. As I am sure you heard...we had record and unusual amounts of snow that just kept on coming...making transportation a nightmare. Anywho....I need to run and get to work. Nice to hear from you again!
