an orange! good thing we don't rely on citrus to prevent scurvy!! I love the orange tree in our back yard. I think we'll get fifty or more this season. Next spring, we intend to plant a grapefruit tree. Arizona is too hot to grow bananas, and too arid for plumeria. Did I also see a bird of paradise? or was that your banana tree?

seeing all your tropical plants intrigues me. Having lived in extremely temperate climes where such plants flourish, I wonder what different techniques you use the in an area that has such a short growing cycle. I see a greenhouse in your pictures - how much time to your plants live there?

Have to get to work this morning (no 4th of July holiday here, hmmmm..and I keep rubbing it in about the holiday..."Independence from whom?"), but wanted to see who might have already responded.

Have only traveled a little across UK...Bath, Bristol, Brighton, Penzance (bloody loony gits!), LONDON (obviously), Edinburgh, St. Andrews, Glasgow.....European travel has taken me everywhere (Spain, Paris, Germany, Austria, Switz., Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Greece, Turkey...) But these Brits are a trip! Good to hear from you so soon Gustaf von Reinhardt (?), right?

Hey Jeff. It has been a long time! I had to laugh when I read your comment - boy was that class a fun time. Has it seriously been 20 years??!! I need to get a few more pics of my family up - I'm really enjoying seeing all of everyone else's. Your family looks beautiful!

Hey neighbor!! Your kids are so cute!! It is so funny about the candy...i do the same thing, but I also have to eat the same amount of candy on one side of my mouth as the other. Ok...I know i'm weird, but sounds like you are too! Ha Ha!! Great to see you on here. Tell your parents hello. My Dad was curious as to where your family was now as well. Take care! K

If I may comment on the whole "dream" discussion... I'm glad to know now that I am not the only one who has the "forgotten my lines" reoccuring dreams. I have been back on that CHS stage many times in my dreams, trying to figure out what I'm suppose to be saying or doing. Luckily, I am "saved" when my dream changes to some other crazy drama. Funny how that stage caused so much anxiety that we're still dreaming about it 20 years later! ha!

Hi Jeff,
What a great surprise! It's good to see that life has also been good to you. What an interesting journey you have had. You have a lovely family.
The last time I saw/spoke to Terry was probaly 18 or 19 years ago. (Could it really be that long ago? Ouch!) I had heard he was in Chicago, but nothing past that.
I'm considering traveling back for the reunion - I vacillate a lot between thinking it would be a good idea to thinking it would be a horrible idea. I think it will depend upon what side of the fence I am on when I go looking for a plane ticket. ;-)
Cali has been good for/to me. I do love it out here - especially when I see snow on the t.v. and that Kansas is getting blanketed. It has been a great adventure.
Wow...drama. That seems like an entirely different lifetime, a fun one tho. I still remember all those rehearsals with Mr. Church. Great times.

Where do you live:
We live in Honeoye Falls, NY, which is a small town outside of Rochester. You know, Rochester - Detroit without the glitter.
Children's Names and Ages:
Bailey (he's a Christmas baby, named after George Bailey), 3yo, and Sam Dyer, 1yo
My career:
My path here has been circuitous. I went to KU, and from there to England to get my Master's degree in Theology. Then, I was getting my PhD in History at College Park, MD, when I had an epiphany - why not quit all this and be a doctor?! Well, 13 years later, here I am. I'm finally gonna be done in three months (July 2008), and will be starting out as a Neurologist specializing in stroke at the University of Rochester.
About Me:
But what I really enjoy is....BOARDGAMES!!! Yep, I'm still an uber-geek, and on any given Sunday you can find me hunched over a map, moving little pieces around. Just like in high school - except now I'm usually drinking a beer rather than a Coke. Best yet - I married a woman who likes to play games too. I'm raising my boys to be armchair generals :)

In fact, this last summer I attended the World Boardgaming Championships in Pennsylvania (sorry ladies, I know I'm getting you all worked up)...and lost every game I played except one. I managed to beat a 12yo girl who spent the whole time texting. Oh yeah!!!

In the summer I enjoy growing tropical plants, and have a nice collection of citrus and plumeria. Again, ladies, contain yourselves, I know this is difficult to take.

And of course my boys are pure joy. I was a confirmed old bachelor until 8 years ago, and now I have a little family. I hope to make it out to Kansas this fall, but probably won't be able to :( I do think of Concordia often, and am ecstatic that Andre put it together. Thanks man!
