Oh, I know what you mean!!! After being up all nite on Friday... thanks to being locked out... I was WORKIN it to get home myself. Usually 1 or 2 am is a "do-able" for me. By HWY 15, I was wishin' Bubby could drive! ;) What time did you guys get in?
Ha! Hays is a "big" town - we don't even have a monopoly on convenience stores in Hays. But we do have all of the best ones!
Yes - Joelle has my curls and now that my hair is cut, mine look even more like hers. See you soon!
OMG Lenn! I love the pictures. How is it that your dad looks exactly the same??? Your daughter is absolutely beautiful. Tell Andi hi for me and I so hope to see you both - all 4 actually - in a couple of weeks!
Lenn, It's nice to see on here. The pictures of your family are great. Your dad has not changed much at all since high school. My husband and I will get to come to the reunion and we are really looking forward to it. I have not been back to Concordia in at least 18 years.
That was so funny about tennis...I remembered you had a terrible backhand, so you would always run around so you could hit it with your forehand.....but you were darn quick so you almost always were able to do so! ha. yep, not quite as fit myself these days but holding the line.
Lenn - good to hear from you. This website has been wonderful to help everyone reconnect. I had forgotten that you married Andrea Graves. It looks like the two of you had made a great life together. Your kids favor each of you in their own way. Your dad still looks the same....I got a kick out of seeing he made your photos. As far as Oklahoma goes, we really love it as well. The weather is about 10 degrees warmer than North Central Kansas during the fall/winter months so we are able to enjoy the outdoors approx 9-10 months out of the year. After leaving Kansas we are supporters of all Kansas Schools. Are hearts follow KU and for the first time we actually flew the jayhawk flag the entire year. We have to pull it in before dark as OU and OSU fans are not so kind and they have been known to steal KU and KSU flags around here. How crazy is that. Good call on going with the pokes, by the time Boone Pickens gets done there they will at least have the money to do well in all areas - including synchronized swimming. Take care and tell Andrea I said hello. Are you going back to the reunion?
I teach 7th and 8th grade Science at Maize South Middle school, Maize, Ks. I've worked for the Maize district the past 14 years. Before and during teaching I worked as a Park Ranger at Pomona Reservoir and Marion Reservoir, served in the Kansas Army National Guard for 6 years (as a tank crewman/gunner). I've coached wrestling, football, Science Olympiad, and currently coach boys and girls tennis. I finished my masters in curriculum and instruction a couple of years ago.
About Me:
Andi (Andrea Graves) and I just celebrated our 19th anniversary and are enjoying our summer with our kids. Last year we visited our last of 48 states together, travelling summers over the past few years. We are now saving for Alaska and Hawaii. I enjoy woodworking and singing at powwows. I've been singing with the same drum group (Medicine Park) for about 8 years. We are members of Olivet Baptist Church in Wichita. Life is pretty simple for us but good. I'm happy to have heard about this website and hear from others, THANKS ANDRE!
