Christmas & New Years were uneventful but okay. AM super GLAD that they are done with for another year!

I can't wait for Idol, but it looks to me like it is "jumping the shark" - new judge and new rules. UGH!

Hope you had a good holiday? Do anything fun & exciting? Get any great gifts? ;-)

Nope, no school here. Nauchelle was quite happy. Crew ended yesterday, and tomorrow is late start. We are both sitting here in the living room, she is doing her homework and I am waiting for House to start. Evidently there are TWO nasty colds going around...I had the first one oh about a month ago...NOW I have the second one. VERY sore neck...not throat...think stiff neck on steroids...and super headache...on to gnarly cough...runny nose....GRRRRR I am tired of working with the public!! They share too much. However....I should be done for the winter now I hope!! I generally get sick around Christmas....but maybe this year I am getting it over with early. Glad the new kids are still working out well. Any more visits from the SRS lady? How are things with the neighbor? Anything new there?

Happy Tuesday. How is your week going so far? Have a full house today? I am guessing the kids there are off school today as well. I sure wish WE were closed at work!! Wishful thinking. Did you have a good weekend? New alarm clock?

Well, sounds like an intersting morning for you yesterday! Always exciting when you oversleep! I ALWAY fear I will oversleep when I have to get up at a not normal time. Like today...4am...ick. Nauchelle's 8 got 2nd and the quad got 1st. It rained HARD!! I forgot my umbrella at work, and my rain jacket in the car. (it was sunny when I got there). I am now trying to get warm. I made it through Friday as well!!

Glad you will get a little more sleep. I could use about a week I think. Looks like it is cold there today. Is the new heater working pretty good? Hope so. Well I made it TO Friday...we'll see if I can make it THROUGH Friday! Have a good one!

Herington, KS (but those voices in my head tell me I'm on a beach somewhere with crystal clear water and a nice little cabana boy rubbing oil on my back! :) )

Sasha... 16, Destinee... 15, Isaiah... 7, and Reagan... 3.
My career:
I have had a daycare in my home for... ever! Woo-hoo! I dabbled in photography a couple of years ago, but no luck in this town.
About Me:
Hi, everyone! ANDRE!!! I'm so glad you did this!
I'm afraid I don't have a very exciting life. I could certainly fabricate one, but Jodi lives here & she might tell on me! :) I went back to school and FINALLY finished my Associates this last Spring. Only took me 20 years, but, hey! I have really enjoyed it. Surprised myself! I was scared to death! My days ( and LATE NITES ) are consumed by kids and lessons at this point. I'm working on a Bachelor's degree with Liberty University right now.
My oldest, Sasha, is a Senior this year. YIKES!!! I homeschooled my two oldest until they were in the 7th & 4th grades respectively. Sasha is a year ahead now and THRILLED at the thought of LEAVING! She wants to be a vet, although slightly daunted at the thought of 8 years schooling... Destinee is my artist. She's a Freshman this year and excels at art and music. She was the youngest person to be in Honor's Choir in the 6th grade, so her teacher is fond... in her own way. Two teenagers. Sympathy, anyone??? (Heavy sigh!) Isaiah is my sweetheart. He loves sports, is all boy, and I can't get ENOUGH of him. He's in the second grade this year. He's not really thrilled. He was actually trying to get me to homeschool him. I don't think it would last too long if I were to try it with him, tho. Reagan is my little miracle baby. Almost lost her. THAT'S a LONG story, tho... She is my "pin-sense"! (That's 3 year old speak for "princess", BTW.) She, too, LOVES music and art. She and her brother keep their Mama in stitches.
I've been married for 17 years. Gary is still driving a truck.
