Sorry - haven't been on much since the reunion because nobody can do my job (sarcasm) while I am on vacation. ERR! Came back to a week and a half's worth of work...not a happy camper. Oh well.
I wish you could have made it back for the reunion, but given the circumstances I understand.
Hi, Terry. Missed seeing you!!!! I don't know WHY you couldn't have just hopped a jet, but... ;) Just remember... if any of these awful snap happy people post a picture of some fat white chic with stickin' up hair that doesn't look happy about having her image emblazed in any sort of format... it's not me. Or, if that doesn't work... the camera adds 50 pounds!!!! K????? :)

I just saw the 'friend' request - wow - not very good at observing things am I? Anyway - Andi and I missed seeing you at the reunion - I think it is the most fun we've had getting back together with everyone since graduation. It's fascinating how much we've all changed. You'll probably be seeing some pics from the reunion show up soon. Maybe you'll be back in the states next time around.
Hi Terry! Soooo glad to see the pics of you. You are looking great! I'll miss you at the reunion - was so hoping you would be there. Funny thing, my Mom is now in London area - Surrey, West Byfleet. My sister, Cindy, had been there working for BP and Mom went for a visit and then married her next-door neighbor. So, now Cindy is back in the states and Mom has been in England for just over a year now. I hope to go for a visit in the summer of '09 - must take the kids and I don't know if I'll be able to get Russ away from work long enough to come with us. Gonna have to do some major planning for all that! Anyway - I'm supposed to be planning a girl scout meeting, so better be off. Take care!
Look at YOU... writing on the boards!!! YEAH!!!!!!! :)
THAT was a long time ago... you visiting me. Seems like a lifetime. I know. I wouldn't give up my kids for the world... but I sure wouldn't balk about being independently wealthy & able to travel the world with my kids... and a couple of nannies, of course!!! ;) GOTS ta have the NANNIES!!! Not to change the subject, but I watched an old episode of "Wife Swap" today & there was a lady on there who had three kids... and FOUR nannies! Four??? O-H M-Y G-O-S-H!!!!! Plus, of course, a cook, a maid, and a chauffeur! She'd just go to the gym & shopping all day. Spend like 2 grand a day on... STUFF. ANYWAY...! :)
Well, I'm gonna try to go to sleep. I've had another rough day with cops at my house. Po-po showin' up just zaps all the hootzpa right out of ya....
Thanks very much Terry. I actually sent Jim an email at that addres this weekend, and he kindly responded today, and forwarded my email to her. Also, Tricia (Eby) Koester's dad live in KC now, and she fwd an address and phone # that I called this morning, leaving a meassage. Hopefully I will recieve a call or email either way.
By the way, it has been great seeing your travel tales on here. What a great experience you must be having. Keep the stories and pictures coming!
It sounds wonderful! You've just been everywhere, haven't you??? I would say, "I'm so jealous!"... but that wouldn't be very Christian of me...! :) I get to go to Topeka 2 or 3 times a year...if I'm really good! Don't hate! LOL!!!!!!
'Tis nap time back here in the States. Yeah, for ME!!! Three down. Mine, however, is a dif't story. Reagan never wants to rest. Destinee is home "sick" today. Yeah... not so MUCH!!! GRR! I'm making her keep Reagan upstairs away from my calm peace downstairs. I'll teach HER to play hookie!! :)
Ireland would be cool to visit.... I'm just buttin' into yours & Jodi's convo... ;) A lady in our church is going there in a few weeks. I think she has family there. I would love to go see Italy. Actually, today, I'd love to go see Coffeyville... anywhere but here. E-gads! I visited a castle in Germany, but I really don't remember anything at all about it. We were shown one little PORTION, but I had to go to the bathroom SO BAD, I was TOTALLY distracted. There were no facilities. :0
tcgren@hotmail.com but I don't check it that often, so just leave a msg here.
Where do you live:
currently 2 hours outside of London, UK.....Bournemouth, UK (on the southwest coast). Bournemouth is SO NOT London, so don't think it's all that glamorous. It is good for outdoor activities.....I just started to learn to KITE SURF!!!
Children's Names and Ages:
N/A
My career:
After graduating from KSU, I went to Wichita for 1 year in CPA firm, hated it. Moved to Chicago, worked for 2 banks and consulting, and got MBA at Northwestern before joining JP Morgan Chase Bank where I've been since 2002. Currently on 2-year ex-patriate assignment in UK working in International Securities Lending since 31 March 2008. Career has not always been great, it's only in the last 2 years that things are really clicking along.
About Me:
So, yeah, I'm in the UK right now.....I'm still surprised this opportunity came through, it was truly being in the right place at the right time and having a good career connection. Bournemouth is a seaside town on south coast, 2 hours from London. It's been an interesting experience so far, you can read in my blog link below. I work crazy hours, so it is not all fun and games. Have traveled quite a bit thru Europe, before this current job and during.
I was living in Chicago near Wrigley Field from 1994 until recently, where I still own a condo and a 2005 Jeep. And now trying to sell the Jeep with $4/gal gas is ridiculous.
My parents are still in Concordia, my sister Tammy and her family (husb Joel, kids Alex/Eric) are in Wichita.
